To remove the distraction and disruption of mobile phones from the school environment – and to provide pupils with a period of six hours each day where they can focus on learning, socialising and communicating – we have introduced a partnership with Yondr. Each pupil has their own Yondr pouch. Every morning pupils put their phones into their pouch and lock it as they enter the school site. At a designated time before the end of the school day, unlocking bases are activated and as pupils leave the school site they are able to unlock their pouches and use their phones.
