Tufts University

How many students does it take to change a light bulb at Tufts?

Two – one to change the bulb and one to explain how they did it every bit as well as any Ivy Leaguer.

What says...

Ask anyone to expand on Tufts’ reputation and they will probably mention two things - elephants and international relations. This small but prominent university, located on a hill next to Boston, is dominated by its college mascot (who appears in statues all over the campus) and its excellent international relations programme (most famously at the graduate Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy).

Tufts has long been known as the school that steals from the waitlists of the Ivy Leagues, and recent action on the part of the past two presidents has seen it progress in leaps and bounds. Particularly welcoming to international students (probably because we give the Americans a chance to practise their diplomacy skills outside the classroom), it is a good option for those looking at small and reputable New England colleges.
