What the parents say...

I am in my 5th year of studying at Outwood Grange Academy. Some teachers are very supportive and aim to help students achieve the grades they want. However, in my opinion, the general performance of the school is not good. The grades the school achieve overall are above the national average, however, in my opinion, this is because the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), push students purely for the reputation of the school as a whole. The school stereotype students, discipline students for one-off mistakes such as a forgetting a book. They do not encourage student individuality. I think the school mainly focusses on discipline rather than praise, therefore they push away high-achieving students, to concentrate on the less intelligent students. Furthermore, the school claim to have a motto of "Students First", however very few students make it to the "Student Voice Team", and so very few true opinions are put forward, which seems ironic. Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
