What the school says...

We could tell you about all the facilities we have our magnificent Manor House, swimming pool, tennis courts, art studios, dark room, cookery room, fitness suite, dance studio, the huge gym, even our new solar panels we could talk about our small class sizes and our Round Square ethos. />
We truly believe that to succeed in and contribute to the World community you need more than good exam results. We take a lot of pride in the fact that our girls regularly perform above expectations in exams and get to universities of their choice. Importantly we care about and develop self-esteem and confidence, inter-personal skills, creativity, initiative, perseverance and happiness; empathy, kindness and a young persons desire to make a difference in the world. We are driven by the underlying belief that there is more in you than you think. By giving girls the opportunity to try new things, to take risks, to succeed and fail in a supportive and caring environment and to mix with girls from different communities and cultures brings out the best in our girls, develops their resilience and confidence, fosters understanding and compassion and uncovers new skills and interests.

Its inseparable room-mates , its enthusiasm engulfing a young face, the animated greetings between teachers and girls and the bedtime chats between Housemistress and their little ones. Its teenagers fluent in many languages and the random trade of expressions and phrases between students of different cultures. Its in the laughter in the corridor and the singing in the hallway and the cheerful roar of the dining room at breakfast, lunch and supper. Its found in the members of staff still at school well past the end of lessons; its in the cheers on the sports field and the melodies floating from the music wing. Its in the art on the walls and in the many hands up in class. Its in the very air as you walk through the front door. Come and see. ...Read more
