What the school says...
Stroud High School has a joint sixth form with Marling School (our neighbouring boys' Grammar)which has over 500 students and is part of the Stroud Post 16 Consortium which means that students have access to a wide range of courses, both academic and vocational.

Since January 2014, Mark McShane, previously deputy head of Gloucester High School for Girls. He has spent all his teaching career at grammar schools in Gloucestershire, and has also been assistant head at Pate's Grammar School. He is married to Alison, and they have a young son and twin daughters.
Selects bright girls at entry and does well by them. Results are excellent, despite staff's constant refrain, 'We're not an exam factory.'...
