What the school says...

Entrance examinations consist of: Entry into Years 7,8 and 9: 2 VR tests. Year 10: Maths, English & 2 VR tests. Sixth Form: Minimum of 5 Cs at GCSE including B grades in subjects to be pursued.

Since 1996, Mr Roger Hale MA PGCE FRSA (50s). Attended Huddersfield New College, Trinity College, Cambridge, London Institute of Education (MA in education management). Taught history at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School, Elstree; head of history at Queen Elizabeth’s Boys’ School, Barnet; head of sixth form at Tewkesbury School, Gloucester; deputy headmaster Caistor Grammar School (has clocked up 20 years at the school). Ex-Ofsted inspector; sits on various local and national committees including the Association of School and College Leaders, the Education Funding Agency, Grammar School Heads’ Association.
