What the school says...

We are an outstanding special school that caters for children with Autism, MLD, SLD and other associated complex needs. Additionally some children have ADD, Fragile X, Downs Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, or Dyspraxia. A Specialist School in the SEN area of Comunication and Interaction and Creative Arts. The school has also been awarded the Autism Accreditation by the National Autistic Society. Since 2005, Mrs Mary Fawcett MA DipEd NPQH (late 50s). Prior to assuming the headship, Mary (known universally, as are all the staff, by her first name) taught in the school with various roles. No-one could have had better preparation for running so complex, so tailored and so carefully-tuned a school.
