What the school says...

Durlston Court is an extremely happy school, providing a caring environment in which each individual is truly valued. High expectations underpin all that is undertaken. A dedicated, well-qualified teaching staff provides a first class academic education, whilst a vast wealth of extra curricular opportunities helps children to develop their talents to the full. Praise, encouragement and firm, but sensitive, discipline instil traditional values and a sense of purpose and worth. ...Read more

What the parents say...

We cannot praise Durlston Court enough for it’s Excellence, from the Head Master and Deputy head to the teachers and secretaries. Durlston’s duty of care for the children is second to none and all the staff work tirelessly to make it a pleasure and privilege to have your child attend here. Durlston’s onsite facilities and activities available to the children are pretty exceptional, we have to say. It is no wonder that Durlston, has yet again, acquired the accolade of being the Number 1 School in Hampshire and Dorset. Our Son who is 7, started at Durlston in Feb this year, having come from another Independent school. He has benefitted no end since joining Durlston, in all areas of schooling and loves the array of interesting after school clubs on offer. Each child is appreciated for who they are and are inspired to be the best they can be. What more could any parent want?!

Durlston Court is great. My son loves this school. While academic lessons are important - they have just been included in The Times top 100 Prep Schools for the fourth year running, the all-round educational experience is excellent. One day he can be found climbing trees and making hot chocolate in The Den (an outside forest school classroom), the next performing in a class concert and on another day be helping to build their Green Power car in the DT building. We are all looking forward to watching them race in the summer -Good Luck.

My son has just completed Year 8 at Durlston and he will really miss the place. He has had the opportunity to achieve so much during his time at the school and has been helped along the way at every stage. His CE results were excellent and he is going to his next school with a full sports scholarship. Thank you Durlston Court.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
