What the school says...

Houldsworth Valley Primary School is a good school (Ofsted 2012) providing the very best educational experiences and securing high educational standards for pupils from the town of Newmarket and surrounding villages. Located at the heart of our community, Houldsworth Valley Primary School sits within open, leafy grounds, giving our pupils the space they need to think, learn, interact with others and grow.

Our School has been carefully developed to create highly effective conditions for learning, with spacious, bright and well organised classrooms and learning areas where a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum, personalised to meet the needs of all our children, from the very start of their school life, is successfully delivered. Our skilful and dedicated team of teachers and learning support staff ensure every individual becomes an astute, confident learner who makes good or better progress and attains accelerated achievement.

We are a happy, friendly and caring School, committed to our ethos The Best For All From Each The Best: working together, united by agreed aims and core School values which provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where we know each of our pupils well and they are valued, encouraged and supported to achieve their fullest individual potential, empowering them to make their best contribution to the School community and society.

Our pupils are, without a doubt, the best measure of our success and I encourage you to come and visit us, meet our pupils, staff and governors and find out for yourself what makes Houldsworth Valley Primary School an inspiring learning community.

We look forward to meeting you.
