Since 2022, Emily Hair. State educated in Bedfordshire and had only worked in state schools prior to coming here. But, boy, was she fast-tracked. Kicking off her career at Grendon Underwood Combined School as an NQT she rose to acting deputy head, then climbed the ladder via Buckingham Park CE School as assistant head of inclusion, SENCo and then deputy head, thence to Northamptonshire as deputy head for a trio of schools before becoming executive head for two local primary schools. Came here (still with youth on her side!) in search of trying out ‘leadership in a different context’, as well as being drawn to the school’s ‘warmth, evident in every layer and interaction’.
