What The Good Schools Guide says

Head teacher

Since 2019, Louise Reeks. Brings to Roehampton over 20 years’ experience in SEND, having previously headed another school in the Aspris group (then, Priory Education and Children's Services). An expert in autism and social, emotional and mental health needs in children, adolescents and post-16 education.

Entrance

A small number of primary school age children are included in the youngest class. Most arrive from 11 years. The school asks for prospective pupils’ reports, EHCP and any other relevant paperwork. If school feels there is a suitable match, the pupil is invited for a taster day – including meeting teachers and therapists. Support is available for those with heightened anxiety issues who may require the type of therapies the school provides. The school is not resourced to support pupils who are violent or in crisis.

Please note: Independent schools frequently offer IGCSEs or other qualifications alongside or as an alternative to GCSE. The DfE does not record performance data for these exams so independent school GCSE data is frequently misleading; parents should check the results with the schools.
