What the school says...
Life at Shebbear is busy, filled with academic purpose, co-curricular activity, creative discovery and outdoor adventure. Everyone is known and cherished and life-long friends are made within our supportive and caring environment.
Our smaller size means that our staff know all of our pupils individually, meaning that each child can discover their own strengths and find the confidence to shine.
Every pupil is different and our team of passionate and committed teachers will find each individual’s spark and discover what motivates them, fostering enthusiasm and optimism in everyone.
At Shebbear we believe in a broad, extensive education where pupils excel in all areas of the curriculum. Our pupils are encouraged to challenge themselves, take risks, be innovative, enjoy learning, make mistakes and try again.
Shebbear College is so much more than a school. We are a community where every single girl and boy is nurtured, respected and encouraged to maximise their potential, embrace every opportunity and be themselves every single day. ...Read more
