SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

The Student Support Team is heavily involved with students across all year groups providing bespoke support to meet students' needs. This specialist support includes SEN support, academic and pastoral mentoring, literacy support, counselling, behaviour and attendance support and links to outside agencies. The school has a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator who monitors the progress of girls identified as having special needs. There is currently one learning support assistant attached to individual pupils. Gifted and talented pupils are also judged to have special needs which are met by a comprehensive programme of extra-curricular activities and support.
