At Westwood College, we aim to promote the learning of all students. We provide a caring, supportive department and we encourage all students to reach their own individual potential. We work in partnership with parents and will always keep parents updated about any support we provide. The Teaching Assistants in the department are highly skilled individuals, who are experts at working with students of all levels of ability. Our department works very closely with mainstream staff, to ensure that a comprehensive system of support is available within the classroom. Staff are kept up to date with any special needs information which ensures a whole college response to special needs.
