SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

We are an independent co-educational day school providing specialist education for children aged 4-11 years who hold a statement of special educational needs for autistic spectrum disorders and Asperger's Syndrome. We aim to be more than just a school and are unique in our multi-disciplinary approach to working with children with ASD. We believe we can develop the global needs of our children not just their education.

We provide our parents and families with outreach support into the home to help with establishing routines, managing behavioural issues and providing advice and support. Our resident multi-disciplinary team consists of in-house speech and language therapists, psychologists, an occupational therapist and a music therapist. The team works alongside the class teachers, to provide a holistic approach for each child and a range of much needed family support including home visits and training workshops.
