Provided by the school and not part of our review

Moor End has a team of well-qualified and experienced Special Needs and Language Development staff. The team works closely with subject teachers to ensure the right level of support is given to all children with special needs, including those requiring specialist provision for dyslexia.

In addition Moor End hosts the Kirklees resourced provision for pupils with a visual impairment. These pupils come from all over Kirklees and are provided with resources in various formats, equipment, support and specialist teaching to enable them to access the mainstream secondary school curriculum alongside their sighted peers.
