What the school says

Park Hill Prep School and nursery offers excellent academic teaching in a nurturing environment for 2-11 year olds. With small class sizes averaging 14, children receive personalised support to flourish. Our experienced teachers cover a wide range of subjects beyond the national curriculum. Each child receives an iPad to enhance learning and our staff, including Apple teachers and Apple distinguished educators, integrate technology across the curriculum. This approach allowed children to continue learning seamlessly during lockdown. At Park Hill, we encourage academic, physical and emotional development, believing that happy children achieve their best in all areas of life.

SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

At Park Hill, we understand that every child may need additional support at times. We ensure that we know each child’s needs and set termly targets to help them progress. Early intervention is central to our approach, allowing us to address individual needs effectively. Once a need is identified, children are provided with targeted intervention groups to support areas such as writing, reading, or motor skills. These sessions are creatively planned by our experienced learning support assistants, SEN teacher, and class teachers, tailoring support to each child's unique needs and interests for maximum progress.
