Selby High School values each child as an individual, with their own skills, talents and abilities, and we recognise our responsibility to provide a relevant and worthwhile education in which pupils with special educational needs can achieve their own potential. As a school we endeavour to provide a supportive learning environment, range of facilities, support strategies, staff and equipment that will enable students with SEN to access the curriculum and become valued, respected and equal members of the school community. We work cooperatively with students, parent/carers and outside agencies to develop skills that will enable these students to participate fully in society.
