At any point from pre-prep to year 6. Girls attend a taster day during which - depending on age - reading, spelling, writing and maths will be assessed through testing, observation and discussion. Written report from previous school required for year

Over three quarters transfer to the senior school – 14 out of 18 in the last academic year. Girls making this transer are no longer required to sit an 11+ exam and instead receive references from the prep. Of the few that leave, South Wilts Grammar
