Knowl Hill is a co-educational day school for children between the ages of 7 and 16. It was founded in 1984 to teach children with Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia). Pupils have specific learning difficulties (Dyslexia) and may also have slight emotional difficulties and may require either a modified or mainstream curriculum with support. The National Curriculum is followed in a normal classroom setting, in addition to which, each child has individual tuition for specific areas of difficulty if needed.

All children come with either an Educational Psychology Report or a Statement of Special Educational Needs.
