Our policy is that all phones belonging to girls in years 7 - 10 are handed in to their form tutor at the beginning of the day (or housemistress if boarders) and collected again at 6pm on their way home. What the school says

At Mayfield, education is an adventure of the mind, heart and soul. Rooted in Catholic and enduring human values, we create an environment where girls discover their authentic selves and develop the courage to embrace life’s possibilities. While academic excellence is fundamental to everything we do, it’s our unique and rounded approach to fostering intellectual curiosity, spiritual growth and personal discovery that genuinely sets us apart. In our community, girls develop inner confidence and a bold sense of self-belief, readying them as young women to shape the world around them.
