Arts & extracurricular

Frequent drama productions as well as concerts, jazz band and string quartet. All girls do drama in years 7 and 8 and a fair number continue to GCSE. The shiny polished Victorian main hall is used for annual theatrical productions as well as concerts

Named for the Mancunian Labour MP Ellen Wilkinson, who led the Jarrow March in 1936 and became the first female minister for education in 1945, the school was founded in 1974 and is still the only all-girls comprehensive school in Ealing.

Most parents and daughters here made a conscious decision to choose Ellen Wilkinson above any other school. The odd pupil has chosen it because someone in her wider family has been here, many because it is a real community school with a local feel.

Our school is dedicated to helping girls create their future and the future! High expectations and standards sit alongside a nurturing and supporting environment for all students. Girls at this school fulfil their potential and realise their dreams aided by experienced teaching and support staff who go the extra mile for the children in their care. At Ellen Wilkinson, the students receive guidance from a modern and progressive leadership team who are constantly restless in striving to improve the school experience for the pupils under their care.
