Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
(Older) boys who travel to or from school without parents are permitted to bring mobile phones to school. When arriving at school, boys are encouraged to send their parents a text to say that they have arrived safely. They will then be required to turn off their mobile phone (that is powered off rather than screen off) and put their phone into their locker until the end of the school day. Boys may turn their phones on as they are leaving and again, we encourage them to send parents a text to say that they are on their way.
