No lack of academic rigour, regular testing so they know where they are but ‘not glued to their desks’ either, plenty of talk of breadth and balance across a traditional prep curriculum with added outdoor benefits.

Our view
Founded in Ilkley in 1960, moving to its present site in 1992. The ceremonial flagpole is a nice touch – they are proud of their school. The views alone make this place very special – right across the valley to the Cow and Calf Rocks, yes it’s blowy
