Main entry points are reception and year 3 but places are usually available throughout the prep. Potential pupils are invited for a two-day taster during which standardised tests are carried out together with more informal assessment in a relaxed

Overwhelming majority transfer automatically to the senior school. Pupils are regularly tested throughout the prep school and any not thriving will have been identified and parents advised in good time.
