The curriculum, designed to be interactive and fun, involves specialist teachers for art, music, sports and French from the off, while a thematic learning method builds depth of understanding. Since 2022, Caron Mackay BEd. ‘Very good with the parents and even better with the children, who absolutely love her,’ we heard. ‘Creates a homely feel, but very professional.’ She originally joined the school in 2009 as a class teacher, then held various posts including director of studies and two stints as acting head. A graduate of Glasgow, Mrs Mackay started her teaching career there before moving to London two years later.
