What the school says

The Liverpool Blue Coat School is a mixed selective school for students from 11-18. It is over 300 years old so is rich in tradition yet forward-looking in ideas and technology. Our curriculum has an academic focus, yet there are many events and activities which make the school experience very exciting and rewarding. The school admits 180 students into year 7 irrespective of gender, based on the outcome of the school's engrance test. Our sixth form is the largest in the city, with 360 students studying in years 12 and 13. There are 18 A level courses to choose from.
