Every school tells us that ‘your child is known’. At Ardvreck they truly are. Nothing glitzy, but a wee gem of a school that seems to bolster its charges the old-fashioned way, with a zest for life and inner enthusiasm. Punches well above its weight in senior school circuit.

Boarders
While boarding may be on the wane elsewhere, Ardvreck’s cosy dorms in the turrets of the main house are still a big draw. Between 70-80 per cent of the school board at some point during the week for flexi or weekly, with around a third in at the
Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
We have a strict no mobile phone policy for all day pupils. Our boarding children will only have access to their mobile devices to call or message their family on certain weekdays for an hour slot between 7.45pm and 8:45pm unless a special arrangement is in place, e.g to take into account time differences. Times are more flexible on Sundays. The devices will be stored safely by the house staff and they may not be taken out of the house without special permission.
