Craigclowan has put past difficulties behind it and is looking purposefully towards the future, its financial situation secured and with a new headmaster who is beginning to make his mark. We were charmed by the school and its children who certainly seem very happy both inside and outside the classroom.

Inspection reports

What the school says

Craigclowan provides a warm and nurturing environment for boys and girls aged 3 – 13 to learn, grow and be happy. The dedicated, caring staff encourage pupils to achieve their all-round potential in the classroom, on the sports fields, on the stage and in the music and art departments. The school aims to make the most of the world outside the classroom - wellies and waterproofs are a must! Craigclowan's children stay children for longer but when they do move on they attend a wide variety of top UK senior schools, many with scholarships under their belts.
