Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
The policy aims to address some of the challenges posed by mobile phones in school. Privately owned mobile telephones must be switched off during working hours. For teaching staff, ‘working hours’ is defined for this purpose as the times when their responsibilities include direct contact with children. Use of personal mobile phones is restricted to non-contact times, and not in the presence of pupils. Mobile phones can only be used in staffrooms or offices. Mobile phones are not to be used in classrooms or general areas unless absolutely necessary.
