Entrance

Entry to nursery and reception (called ‘kindergarten’) is non-selective and registration from birth is recommended. Majority of girls from the onsite nursery go to the girls’ school reception where they join those registered for 4+ entry.

Our view

Established in 2008, Eaton House the Manor Girls’ was set up alongside the existing boys’ prep on the same one-and-a-half-acre site in Clapham. The aim is to offer the benefits of single-sex education for both boys and girls ‘under one roof’ – a boon

With 31 scholarships and exhibitions in 2024, Eaton House the Manor Girls’ School is excelling. Girls leave for a range of schools, such as St Paul’s Girls’ School, JAGS, Alleyns and Wycombe Abbey, after enjoying a relaxed but highly stimulating environment which promotes intellectual curiosity. Their learning journey is action-packed with music, performing arts and sports. An excellent network of pastoral care ensures each individual child is understood and supported. Eaton House the Manor Girls’ School is a confident school, producing wonderful girls who will go on to make a difference.

Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School is able to cater for pupils with mild, specific learning needs, with support mainly provided through high quality teaching, delivered daily in the classroom. For a small number of pupils, who require additional support, targeted individual or small group intervention by specialist staff is offered. The SENCo works collaboratively with parents and teachers to help pupils reach their potential.
