A warm, welcoming, inclusive school with a traditional style that focuses its energies on its pupils’ academic progress, personal development and wellbeing rather than on being super slick. It’s an approach that enables them to access leading boarding and day schools in the country.

Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
The school supports the Smartphone Free Childhood campaign. Privately owned mobile telephones must be switched off during working hours. For teaching staff, ‘working hours’ is defined for this purpose as the times when their responsibilities include direct contact with children. Use of personal mobile phones is restricted to non-contact times, and not in the presence of pupils. Mobile phones can only be used in staffrooms or offices. Mobile phones are not to be used in classrooms or general areas unless absolutely necessary.
