This is a lovely prep school. Academic certainly and without the flashy facilities that some boast but nurturing, encouraging and supportive, helping each girl achieve her potential. One of the happiest and most effervescent schools we have visited.

The head of school says that every girl admitted to the prep will have a place in the senior school with a couple of caveats. If they feel a girl would not thrive in the senior school supportive conversations will be had to help find a more suitable

Manchester High Prep is joined to, but quite distinct from, the senior school. Reception and key stage one are housed in a four classroom wing with its own central hall/library. There’s a nice safe outdoor area with lots of fun play equipment and an
