What is this?

Facilitating A levels are ones that are commonly needed for entry to leading universities. The % of pupils achieving AAB or higher may therefore decrease if many pupils have opted not to take two or more of the facilitating subjects mentioned.

SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

St Bede’s College has an inclusive approach and is keen to support pupils with a range of talents and abilities. We are not SEN registered and do not cater for those who would gain an EHCP for moderate or severe special needs in state schools. For each pupil meeting the academic criteria for admission, the College will make reasonable adjustments so that any pupil is not disadvantaged. All pupils follow the appropriate timetable for their age group. However, additional learning support is available together with EAL support and may be charged as an extra.
