Wycliffe currently feels like it’s flying a little under the radar. We left feeling that this shouldn’t be the case as it’s a school with plenty to shout about. Every single pupil receives a great deal of care and attention from the staff, both academically and pastorally; it punches above its weight in sport and the boarding environment is just the place to make anyone feel at home. Wycliffe has every right to stand proud.

Pastoral care, inclusivity & discipline
A recent parent survey indicated that pastoral care was a core strength. This is primarily down to each pupil being known very well by the staff – there’s a sense that no one is overlooked. One parent explained, ‘They give such a personal education
Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.

Pupils are required to hand in their phones during lesson times. Boarding pupils have access to their phones at limited times outside of the school day and pupils are required to hand their phones in at night.

Families may come from literally all over the globe, but no one gives this a second thought here – it’s a close-knit community. Pupils we met seemed comfortable in their own skin and had an unassuming confidence which would enable them to get along
